VRZEL celebrated their 5th anniversary just recently, however, it now looks like the threshold into their five years of activity is the end of the road for them. On April 9, merely six days after their anniversary live, VRZEL and their label Bloom announced on Twitter that VRZEL is going to disband.  The band will part ways following their last 2-day live on June 8–9, shortly after the release of a compilation album of their best songs on June 6, 2018.

Read the official announcement on their Twitter:

It has been decided that immediately following the 2-day solo performance at HOLIDAY SHINJUKU on June 8 (Fri) and June 9 (Sat), VRZEL will disband.
We are deeply sorry to all the fans and friends who have supported VRZEL through the five years since our formation and two years since the transformation into our present form, for making this announcement so sudden.

There is a little bit of activity as VRZEL still left, so please keep supporting us till the very end.

All five members of VRZEL retweeted this brief announcement, but presently there have been no individual comments from any of them.

This development certainly comes quite out of the blue, doesn’t it? What are your thoughts on all this? Let us know in the comments; we’ll try and keep you updated on the members’ thoughts if they choose to share them, and the details on the Best of VRZEL album when that comes out.
