SERAPH plans to attend major overseas festivals as first single "Génesi" becomes available

With new revelations from the project SERAPH by drummer Shinya of DIR EN GREY, we are now aware of SERAPH’s desires to perform overseas. This information came along with the first single release Génesi, available on digital stores today!

Back in April we first introduced SERAPH, “The Sovereign Angel”, as a solo-project by drummer Shinya from DIR EN GREY. While this technically stands true, new information has enlightened us about a second member “Moa”, who will partake in vocals and piano in Shinya’s new angelic quest! Her identity is currently sealed and unknown to the world, but prepare yourself for some angelic material from this duo.

Their music is described as a combination of philosophical and revealing lyrics, along with beautiful melodies accompanied by an epic orchestra with ambient sound. Let Génesi be an introduction to this heavenly sound today as it’s now available on digital stores like iTunes and (Japanese webstore) dwango. The digital release will only include the title track Génesi“, while its full physical release comes with an instrumental and orchestra version of said track, as well as a “special clip” in the DVD version, out on August 18.

SERAPH sets a promise to actively join major overseas music festivals and events in the future, in chase to spread its message throughout the world! Hopefully this means you and I will be lucky enough to catch one of SERAPH’s shows soon!
