SCREEN mode’s latest song features in second season of Food Wars anime

SCREEN mode unleashes their music video for “ROUGH DIAMONDS” which will come out on their single on July 27. This song has been used for the ending theme for the second season of the popular culinary based anime show Food Wars (also known as Shokugeki no Soma 食戟のソーマ). This season has already began airing and is available on Crunchy Roll since July 2.

The music video for ROUGH DIAMONDS, similar to ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION’s Blood Circulator, also has a boxing theme. Perhaps this is sheer coincidence, or maybe there is a wave of people interested in boxing? Let us know in the comments if you know.
