In nano’s latest single Utsushiyo no Yume, we’re provided a theatrical music video that takes a theme similar to jidaigeki (period dramas related to the Edo period), along with an expressive wagakki (traditional Japanese) sound! nano calls this “Japanese x Rock fusion”, combining both Japanese and western influences! This all works out to accommodate to the currently airing anime, Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi, where you will find Utsushiyo no Yume included as the opening theme song. The second track Gloria however, can be found as the main theme song for the detective stage play Taisho Roman Tanteidan -Muttsu no Maria Zo-.

To quickly get you up to speed on Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi, it is a supernatural and otome anime offering beautiful art and animations. It follows the female protagonist who is a college student with the ability to see demons and spirits. Due to her late grandfather’s debt to a demonic god—the owner of the Heavenly Inn—he tries to force her into marriage, but she strongly refuses and decided to pay off the debt by working at the inn instead.
