It was announced at Codomo Dragon’s 12th Oneman tour Nou Kowasu Tour that the band will continue as a four-member band and is set to release a new single Toge on July 4!
With four types in total, the limited edition type A has Toge and an unreleased track on the CD, while the DVD contains the music video and making-of for Toge. Limited edition type B has the same setup for its CD but the DVD has a multi-angle music video instead. This is while regular edition type C and type D have a total of six tracks including Toge and the two others together with their instrumentals.
The artist photos published use a lot of dark colors mainly consisting of reds, blues, blacks, and leopard prints and it may illustrate that this may be a heavier song. You never know with Codomo Dragon though!
It has also been announced that guitarist Kana has officially left the band. He went missing earlier this year and the band received a hand-written letter on January 7 requesting to leave. No specifics were given but he stated that he could not continue under current circumstances. It seems the label and members did exchange emails with Kana but the answer was always “no”.
This is their first single without guitarist Kana, what are your thoughts about that? Do you think this will change their sound?
