[ALEXANDROS] have a fresh single titled KABUTO out on May 23 with three tracks in total. First generation Pokémon fans may be reminded of “Kabuto”, the little brown shelled insect-looking creature, but it is actually the name for the traditional Japanese helmet worn by samurai. Interesting play on words, but we wonder how this will work its way into the track and single concept? What we do know so far is that the first limited edition includes a photo book packed with off shots centering around New York scenery.

The second track of this single Hanauta (ハナウタ) has been used for Tokyo Metro’s Find my Tokyo commercial, briefly showing the band in a lucky cat pose in the advert itself! This song is the first collaboration project which featured emerging poet Tahi Saihate as a lyricist and renowned producer Takeshi Kobayashi as an arranger.
