On January 30, the booking agency FAKE STAR, USA announced that the Elegant Gothic Lolita and Elegant Gothic Aristocrat brand Moi-même-Moitié will be making its US debut at Sakura-Con 2018 in Seattle, Washington, which will take place March 30–April 1. Mana himself will be a guest at the convention as the producer for his fashion brand.
Mana has already visited the US, notably Seattle, for an appearance at Sakura-Con in 2012 with his band Moi dix Mois.
At Sakura-Con 2018, Moi-même-Moitié will host a pop-up boutique, a fashion show, and tea party. The pop-up boutique will also feature items from Wunderwelt, the Japanese online retailer and parent company of Moi-même- Moitié.
Mana will be participating in autograph sessions and a panel at Sakura-Con. More information regarding the tea party, model applications, and schedule details is to be released at a later date. Sakura-Con 2018 will be held at the Washington State Convention Center in Downtown Seattle.
Sakura-Con is the largest anime and Japanese culture convention in the Pacific Northwest. Presented by Asia Northwest Cultural Education Association (ANCEA), Sakura-Con celebrated its 20th anniversary last year.
