LOVEBITES revealed a hell-raising title for their upcoming mini-album titled Battle Against Damnation, and is scheduled for release on June 6 via JPU Records. Battle Against Damnation will include four new tracks and will be mixed and mastered by engineers Mikko Karmila and Mika Jussila of Finnvox Studio, known for being the longest-running studio recording facility in Finland.
Later on in the year, they will become the first Japanese girl band to perform at the Wacken Open Air 2018, on August 2-4. Wacken Open Air is a summer open-air heavy metal music festival in the village of Wacken in Schleswig-Holstein, northern Germany. It has been an annual affair that dates back to 1990.
Additionally, LOVEBITES have just confirmed to be part of the Vans Warped Tour Japan 2018 line-up, alongside PROPHETS OF RAGE, KORN, and LIMP BIZKIT among others, and will perform on April 1. They will follow this up by playing their biggest headline show to date at Shibuya’s Tsutaya O-East on June 28. In July, LOVEBITES will also join Japan’s heavy metal heavyweights, ANTHEM, on tour.
