The newest iteration of the King Kong movies, Kong: Skull Island, premiered this week in Japan with a ravishing red carpet event, but that probably has you guys wondering what that has to do with this humble jrock site. However, it all starts to make sense when you realize that Gackt was in charge of dubbing over the voice of Tom Hiddleston one of the protagonists of the movie, and as such was invited to said red carpet event. This led to Gackt taking one of the coolest selfies on the internet alongside Samuel L. Jackson, the famous and charismatic American actor with numerous successful roles credited to his name.

This amount of coolness is almost too much for us to handle, especially with both of them rocking those spectacles, but luckily we were able to contain it just fine.
