Matenrou Opera (摩天楼オペラ) will begin to celebrate their 10-year anniversary next year, but before they say goodbye to 2016 they’ll hold a very special one-man live on December 23, at TSUTAYA O-WEST. What makes it so special is that it will be the band’s first ever Christmas live, plus it’s exclusive to Club Matenrou members. Furthermore a free gift will be given to each person in attendance, and a live-limited single called SHINE ON will be sold during this event.
It’s been noted that support-guitarist JaY was part of the production of SHINE ON, while vocalist Sono explained it as being “a song filled with exceptional warmth, mixed with vibrant metal characteristics and a fierce spirit”. The band labels this release as “Christmas Metal”, he said.
In addition, this announcement came with the news of a full-length album to be released in spring 2017, to commemorate their 10-year anniversary. We’ll keep you posted as more details emerge, so check back with us for updates!
