After being together for about a year, ELYSION announced that their drummer, CRIM (空里夢), will depart from the band following their presents live Barairo no Jinsei (薔薇色の人生)〜La vie en Rose〜 at Shibuya REX, on August 31.

Earlier in the year, CRIM had taken a temporary activity pause from June to July in order to recover from a poor physical state, which was brought on by anxiety. Sadly, this time the leave will be permanent. The tiny percussionist left an apologetic farewell message to their fans, while giving the reason behind the difficult decision to withdraw, which is related to family matters.

We happily introduced the band late last year before they released their first and only single to date, Shuen no Campanella. And, we had been watching them hoping that the next big news would be in better favor but, as with many, that isn’t the case. Now that the bad news is over, we’d like to leave off on a positive note. We’re glad to report that the band will continue as a three-piece unit with the help of a support drummer. Let’s all hope they’re able to find a suitable replacement very soon!

We wish CRIM and the other members of ELYSION all the best, both on and off the stage!
