A few months ago on May 27, UVERworld released the single titled Boku no Kotoba Dewa Nai Kore wa Bokutachi no Kotoba (僕の言葉ではない これは僕たちの言葉). The title song was used as the first opening theme song for the anime Arslan Senki. In the case you aren’t a huge anime lover, but still interested in the anime your favorite bands write openings and endings for, then here’s one you may be interested in.
For the occasional Japanese movie buff, the third song Collide was featured in the movie Shinjuku Swan which also came out in May.
For those who don’t know UVERworld, they are a band that mixes different genres with rock. For example; blues, hip-hop beats, and even orchestras are frequently introduced into their music. This in turn gives their work a nice variety of flavor since you don’t tend to hear this very often and mastered to such a degree. So assuming you haven’t listened to UVERworld before or just missed this release, then please give it a listen in the video above and tell me what you think!
